Oh Yeah!!.. I have been wondering why some places/cities in Los Angeles gets Hail once in a while or perhaps once in a blue moon, but somehow sometime early this morning, while I was in my deeeeeeeeeeeep sleep, I found myself jumping off my bed quickly thinking thunder or something drastic is happening.  I run to my son's bedroom and was shaking by the noise that was pounding on the top of my roof and top of the awning which is peices of  tin and found my son awake from the noise. I left him after I comforted him and opened the door and found out that the noise was actually Hail from Heaven.. .. as if I never seen big ones before.. I called my son to get up and come on over to see what was going on and so as hubby came out to the door and pciked up some hail and gave it to son so son can feel it. I think I was more excited seeing the hail that actually came to my backyard than my son. I lived in Canada for years, so pretty much know what is it and what it feels like when you get hit on the head with the big ones. aw

After a minute of me standing taking pictures of it, my son went on and grab his sleeping bag to sleep in the living room. He was scared to sleep back in his room and also due to noise he rather sleep in other room, I don't blame him one bit.

So, now, I don't have to wonder anymore, Hail came no matter what.

Not really sure if those plants that got hailed on will survive thru this winter but if  not, it's just another extra fun time for me to find replacements.
