I managed to have  a couple of play dates for Matt and his friend  over the weekdays here at my house.  I was able to get to know the kid when he came over and so as his mom. I made pizza for our lunch and got high ratings from the visitors.   oh yeah!! So now, I have an idea which children to invite when Matt wants to have friends over for the night or on weekends to play with. He has a good friend from old school but I wanted him to have friends that we can invite from his new school. And there are more for me to get to know as yet.

I was able to invite that same kid at the end of the weekday and took them out to eat and went to the park afterwards.  In that way I also get to see what kind of kid he is when it comes to play and how he reacts.

I took matt's soccer ball, basketball, tennis rockets, badminton and the scooters. Well, I now know that only one of those toys he likes to play with and that was Scooter. That is fine with me since most of the kids these days are into technology stuff. 

Matt also has a regular friend from soccer. The mom of that kid and I became good friends. Once in a while I invite them to come over and play but of course the mom and I will talk ourselves to death until we get hungry.

And on the last day of his spring break, we took him to the Sea World in San Diego. I think in his mind and age, it is now that he shows love and interest about anything he sees. He shows more interest compare to the last time I took him there which was two years ago. He was asking way too much about those exotic birds behind us and was very interested to kow why they are that color.. like my scarf. and why not green..hmm.. I ran out of info to give..

So much about getting to know your own children..Sometimes it makes you just wanted to cry because they've said something that tickles your memory of just simply argues with you and wanting to win the arguement..

Living here in los angeles isn't that bad. But when you are trying to raise children, you really need to think twice or more as to where you and what kind of person your children to be when they become adults. So much issues when children  are involved. Overall, I see myself in my childrens actions. It is embarassing  to be honest, but they really are a mirror of me..yikes!!.. sometimes I just shake my head back and forth and not knowing what to say to them because they are acting like me.. ..

oh well, that is why I need to know whom he hangs out with and how he acts at school when I am not there.. scary as it may sound but I don't want children running my short little life I got to live..
