It’s that time of the year again where kids get really excited about it, Christmas. My bundle wrote his "wish list" already and it's somewhat personalized. Meaning, he indicated to whom should get that particular gift and labelled as "want" versus " need". I laughed and so excitedly said to hubby what is this for! It's an order! Both of us burst into laughter. It's funny how children can be so vibrant and so creative when they want something. He knows not to complain when he wants something and behave as almost like an angel. It tickles me thinking about it. Never did I experienced this when growing up, but for crying out loud I was born to less fortune country.
Last night, my bundle and I were putting our fake tree up. I let him decorate this time. I didn't move anything that he'd put up. He was complaining last year that I didn't let him hung the decor. So now he was able to. We will be getting the sort of "live tree" one day this week before the weekend. This will be our very first live tree. I wonder why they call it live tree since it's been cut from the bark. I guess when you compare it from the boxed one, it has smell of pine or somewhat indicated it's from live tree. hmm.. I am wondering.
Hopefully to find another good deal on some star that is from Philippines. I like them a lot. They remind me of how joyfull the Filipinos are when this time of year comes around. I missed the carolings in the neighborhood, the bells ringing, the family going to the church in the middle of the night and followed by coffee with some sweet snacks..oh.. i missed them all.
I haven't done any shopping for anyone as yet, though hubby has been busy looking around some good deals online. I think he said that he has two or more to do from matt's list that he needs to order. I guess he loves the online shopping. Less hassle, no standing in line, and at some places you have to pay to park. But for me, I need to feel the crowd and just being there with the crowd makes me feel I am doing some fun shopping..
.
take care and be safe.
