Today was somewhat productive day for me. I managed to put this short sound box stand together. Was a plan for at least a week now and finally, had the time to do it.

Hubby had been nice to us lately. He purchased some new sound system to replaced the one I did not intent to break. He said it was time for new anyways, so I didn't feel so terribly bad about it. One of the units sits on the floor and I didn't like how it looks. So we decided that I must built a stand for it to dress it up, sort of thing.

Bought 4 nice ready to paint legs, about four inches tall, and a five feet long piece of wood . We had wood scraps from other projects, that is why  I didn't have to buy a lot of woods. I Had to cut two of shorter pieces of wood, about six inches long to attached onto the long piece where the legs had to be attached.

I screwed them together. It's always better that way rather than nailing it. It was also the fun part for me, because I get to use power drill. When putting everythig together was done, it was time to finished the project with the wood stain. That didn't take long to do either. By the time hubby came home it's done and drying already.

I am so proud that I can make something. This will be the second table/ stand I made so far. I should be able to take pictures of it tomorrow, when it's nice and dry and in use.
